Hi, i have tried backup to additional destination (WD MYCLOUD EX2) with no success. I tried with WINSCP upload files in same folder....success.

Anyone have any idea? I have double checked path and so on....

Thanks,

Hey there! I'm sorry to hear about the issues with the remote backup on the system. Are you connecting with FTP to that remote machine? If so, can you connect with FTP over the command line between the two systems? There may also be errors in the /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log file, or the backup transport log in the /usr/local/cpanel/logs/cpbackup_transporter/ directory.

Hi,i have tried with ssh for now. Winscp works.
I remeber that i have tried with ftp but no success either.

I can provide ssh login and pass...

Also i have tried connect with putty on server (whm) and from there i can connect to remote ssh, where i have checked path again. Looks fine..

Thanks.

You'd want to be performing tests from the cPanel machine to the remote backup server, so tools like WinSCP wouldn't be a valid test of the connectivity between the two systems. Do you see errors in the logs, or when you test manually?

We're always happy to check things on our end if you'd like to submit a ticket. Just post the ticket number here so I can follow along and keep this thread updated.

It looks like we found some customizations to the FTP application on the remote server that may not work properly with the cPanel tools. There's more details in the ticket that are specific to your account, but let me know if you need anything else!
