Can't change primary domain document root

Hi cPanel,

I can't make my domain work in sub folder, I did changed the domain

/var/cpanel/userdata/USERNAME/DOMAIN.COM

documentroot: /home/username/public_html
path: /home/username/public_html/cgi-bin

to

documentroot: /home/username/public_html/subdir
path: /home/username/public_html/subdir/cgi-bin

I did removed the cache files

and exec

/scripts/updateuserdatacache


# /scripts/rebuildhttpdconf
# service httpd restart


but , still not working in my domain sub folder, but instead it works in the root folder

can u please help me ASAP

This isn't something natively supported within cPanel at this time, but you can modify it with the steps noted here: SOLVED - Changing document root for primary domain does not work
