CentOS 7.8 Support

Hi,

CentOS 7.8 is ready for update. Should I update? Is there something I should know abut compatibility?

The 7.x versions are not fundamentally different. Cpanel supports centos 7.8.

Such as 7.5, 7.6.

I also want to point out that it's only available on the CR (Continuous Release) repository and as far as I am aware it's official release hasn't happened per CentOS - Wikipedia.

@cPanelLauren CentOS 7.8.2003 is out! Release information here. We have updated but the release number is still 7.7 but SSH show 7.8, So we think this bug from cPanel?

WHM CentOS version number are not updated?

Kernelcare is a cloudlinux software.

You should expect Cloudlinux to release patches according to the new kernel, which usually happens within 1 week.
