As a suggestion consider this change to the “New Security Advisor notifications with ...” emails for:
Replace:
‘reboot the system.’
with
‘reboot the system by running “reboot -h now”.’ *
Why?:
‘-h’ requests reboot to halt all processes first, so that MySQL (etc.) doesn’t exit un-cleanly.
