A PHP script vendor has advised me to change the pcre.backtrack_limit setting and that I will need to reboot the server after doing so. I am on a shared hosting server running Apache Version 2.4.57 and cPanel Version 110.0 (build 9). Since I obviously can't reboot the server, will changes to this setting (in the public_html directory) take effect the next time the script is run even without a reboot? If not, what are my alternatives?

Hey there! There is no need to reboot the system after changing a PHP value. You can make this change through WHM >> MultiPHP INI Editor under the "editor mode" window, and then save the setting, and the updated setting will be applied instantly. You can confirm this through a PHP info page on an account using that version of PHP.
