Changed my Add-on Domain as the Primary Domain...BUT..

Hi,

This is my first post here. Loving cPanel forum already!

I changed one of my addon domains as the primary domain. But now what steps do I need to follow to bring my website (www addon-domain dot com) back online?

My old primary domain was never a website and had no data or files; only my addon domains were websites.

I tried to google search about this but every post that I found was beyond me. Can someone please give steps to follow after one of the Addon domains have been changed as the Primary domain?

Did I give sufficient info?

Hello

There are no native tools that will automatically convert an addon domain name to it's own account. However, the following forum thread includes user-submitted information on to complete this manually:

Note that in this case, since you are keeping it on the same account, you can just copy over the website data to the public_html directory via FTP or File Manager.
