Hey All,

We are running out of space for more drives and wanted to use nfs server for new accounts. Problem is we are getting a permissions issue, but the is no permission issue as folders are read/write. Seems cPanel isn't allowed to create user folders on nfs server. Here is the message below. Also there seems to be no Create.pm in that dir either??

Thanks in advance!

Account Creation Status: failed

Unable to add user newwebsite: add_system_user failed due to an error: (XID qwcvzk) The system failed to set the user ID to “1720” and the group ID to “1721” on “/mnt/nfsshare/newwebsite” because of an error: Permission denied at /usr/local/cpanel/Whostmgr/Accounts/Create.pm line 1468.

Hey there! In general, cPanel does not support NFS as it doesn't handle file locking properly. You can find more details on this here:
