Hello,
I am wondering if anyone has a solution for what I am after, or is able to create one?
I am wanting to offer my clients a service, whereby I can set up from my end (WHM), that allows a cpanel backup to be taken of their account, and uploaded to a 3rd party store (ie. dropbox) every night, that the client has access to (ie. their own 3rd party store).
I want to be able to offer this solution to my clients so that:
- they feel secure in that they have their own cpanel backups
- it is something they don't have to think about (automatic).
Do you know of a solution that will work, based on the above?
I have found a couple of solutions, however they have some issues:
1. cpbackup.info/dropbox-uploader/ - requires the whm logins to be added to a file in the client's config file in public_html, which is a security issue
2. hostliketoast.com/developer-channel/automatic-cpanel-web-hosting-backup-script/ - couldn't get to work
3. hongkiat.com/blog/auto-backup-website-dropbox/ - involves mover.io/pricing/ who's pricing make it prohibitive
Thank you for your time.
Kind regards,
Anthony
