Hi guys,

All but one of our servers updated yesterday and during the process, the http.so file for PHP7.2 was removed (/opt/alt/php72/usr/lib64/php/modules/http.so), this broke several websites. I've tried to remove and reinstall PHP7.2 through EA4, we also tried to rerun upcp, sadly neither actions resolved the issue. I've copied the file over from the one server that didn't update, this allowed us to restore access to broken websites.

Is this by design or is it a bug? Anyone else with this issue?

cPanel v78.0.21
CloudLinux

Thanks!

Hello @Guillermo Elia,

Can you open a support ticket so we can take a closer look at your system to see how that file was removed? You can post the ticket number here and we'll link this thread to it.

Thank you.

Hi there,

We've encountered the same issue and have narrowed it down to the following package:

alt-php72-pecl-ext-1-38.el7.x86_64

Earlier versions of this package provide /opt/alt/php72/usr/lib64/php/modules/http.so but the version above does not.

I've opened a ticket with CloudLinux and will update this thread with more info in case it helps others having the same issue.
