Do you have anything like this in Indiana? I would love to take training on your software or even buy a book for dummies.

Unfortunately, at this point we only hold our Annual Training Seminars in Houston, TX.

I would highly recommend it, even for those who attended last year's event since you will receive unparalleled training in our product directly from techs and developers who know certain aspects of our product the best. It's well worth the investment to fly in for this event.

This year will feature information relevant to cPanel 11 as well as some new events at the seminar including a mass "anything goes" Q&A session with all the presenters at the end of each day as well as a presentation on our license administration system (Manage2).

I live in Canada, and am thinking about flying down to attend. How much does the seminar cost? Is there accommodation's local to the seminar?

This information below is found on: http://trainingseminar.cpanel.net/attend.cgi

The seminar takes place at the Westin Oaks, which is a beautiful hotel adjacent to the fourth largest shopping mall in North America. We do have a group rate available if you register before May 7 to save you some money on a hotel room as well.

The seminar still only costs $50 to attend (we haven't raised the price yet).

What is the hotel price?

Is this conference suitable for beginners who are looking to learn how to become more advanced users with your panel?

The conference is designed so that everyone who administers a cPanel server will find it useful and be able to understand what is being discussed regardless of skill level (beginner, advanced etc.).

Foolish question, but since there are multiple airports in Houston, which would be the "normal" one as I search for flights. I assume it's Bush Intercontinental but I'd like to confirm.

The major airports in Houston are Houston-Hobby and Bush. Hobby is the smaller airport, I personally fly through there frequently and never had any troubles yet *knocks on wood*. However, Bush is likely to have more flight availability as it is a larger airport.

Can you give me an idea of the travel time from these airports to the hotel (and if the hotel has a shuttle)? If I go I won't be able to arrive until early in the morning on the 31st and I want to make sure I don't miss too much.

Hi, I'm glad to hear you're planning on coming to the seminar. Here's the info I have for transport:

Super Shuttle (713) 523-8888

The cost from Bush Airport to the hotel is $24.00 per person (1) way
The cost from Hobby to the hotel is $18.00 per person (1) way

Time from Hobby is probably about a half hour or so.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Thanks

Hobby is the only way to go if you want to avoid traffic.

* I'm pretty partial to southwest though.

I'll second that, every time I've flown to Houston it's been to Hobby. Actually, it's one of the more efficient airports that I've been at. That, and it's not too far from the venue.
