Hello sorry I do t k ow how to word this any better. I have been testing Ubuntu and cPanel 102.08 more today. I got an error email and it says this below
Log Messages
The system could not provide log messages for “nginx” because it failed to read all of the potential log files with the following errors: Error while attempting to open “/var/log/messages”: “No such file or directory”, Error while attempting to open “/var/log/secure”: “No such file or directory”

but Ubuntu does not have those logs. They are different for Ubuntu

same error when lmtp failed
Can you have the devs correct where to look for these log files in Ubuntu.
Thanks

Seems that CSF knows where the logs are, if you look in WHM -> Plugins -> ConfigServer Security & Firewall -> Firewall Configuration -> OS Specific Settings

Thanks again Great find.

I would just like them to change( if possible on Ubuntu installs those paths to the logs) so when we get an email a dummy like me won't think there is another issue with the log files ( maybe they got deleted :)
