cPanel - AWS Infrastructure question

Hey guys,
I recently installed cPanel / WHM on an Amazon EC2 instance just to see how it performs. I have a general question though.

1. Would cPanel automatically utilise RDS for the databases that are created in cPanel accounts of the EC2 instance?
3. Would cPanel automatically utilise S3 bucket for space utilisation?

OR would it simply use the space / resource of the EC2 instance for storage and databases?

Hi,

cPanel & WHM will use the space on the EC2 instance.

Right now I believe there is an incompatibility with RDS. Our product requires a certain level of super access that is not possible with RDS (if I'm thinking of the correct service and bug).
