cPanel - WP Toolkit - Websites

We are complete newbies to cPanel and WP Toolkit and hope it is okay to ask a few questions to the forum.

For many years, we have worked with website solutions for companies in Norway, but have always done the creation of WP and other things manually. So far things look very good in cPanel, and we also see that there are many possibilities with the WP Toolkit. Our questions is:

When we get an order from a customer, in most cases they already have a website that should be operational even if we create a new solution in our system. We want to create an account in cP and link this to a temporary address (url) to use when we prepare the new websites.

After we have finished, we want to link these new websites to the customer's domain.

Good tips and advice are received with great thanks.

PS! Just to mention, we have full control over the customer's DNS

Hey there! There's a few different ways you could do this:

-use the cPanel Skeleton directory to automatically populate certain files to new accounts. More details on that can be found here: Skeleton Directory | cPanel & WHM Documentation

-use the above skeleton system to create a .htaccess file in every account with a redirect to a page of your choosing. This could point to a "coming soon" type page that you host elsewhere

It's important to note that none of the content on the cPanel server will be live until the DNS is pointed to that machine.
