I have been getting these errors in error log for a while

Code:
[2016-04-24 16:35:43 +0100] info [cpsrvd] Failed to connect fpm socket: /var/cpanel/php-fpm/root/sock: Connection refused at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Server.pm line 1896.
Today after updating to version 56 I get these errors constantly ( every hour in LFED log email report )
and I cannot find /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Server.pm it just does not exist in that folder at all

Code:

==> cpsrvd 11.56.0.8 started

==> cpsrvd: loading security policy....Done

==> cpsrvd: Setting up native SSL support ... Done

==> cpsrvd: transferred port bindings

==> cpsrvd: bound to ports

I have tried redoing the version 56 upgrade, but that hasn't made any difference
I have submitted a ticket to Cpanel, but it is way down the queue

Hello :)

This issue is similar to what's reported on the following thread:

Webmail is Unresponsive

However, the difference on cPanel version 56.0.8 is the log output you see in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log:

Warning: something's wrong at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Server.pm line 1894.
The log entries you have referenced are emitted to the error log when someone accesses a PHP page at a time when the "cpanel_php_fpm" service is enabled, but not responding.

Please try restarting the "cpanel_php_fpm" service and let us know if the issue persists:

Code:
/scripts/restartsrv_cpanel_php_fpm restart
Also, I do see your support ticket is open. I'll ensure this thread is updated with the outcome of the support ticket.

Thank you.

To update, the issue was resolved after restarting the "cpanel_php_fpm" service. However, if possible, could you or anyone else that's experiencing this issue on cPanel version 56.0.8 or newer provide us with some additional log output? Look for the time stamps from when this happened in the following log file and post the output in CODE tags:

/usr/local/cpanel/logs/php-fpm/error.log

Also, review the error logs in the following directories and post the output as well:

/var/cpanel/roundcube/log/
/var/cpanel/php-fpm/*/logs/

Thank you.

There are no log files in either of these directories:
/var/cpanel/roundcube/log/
/var/cpanel/php-fpm/*/logs/
in fact there is no */logs directory inside the php-fpm directory.

Edit: Thank you to everyone who opened a ticket to help us investigate the issue. For now, we no longer require additional reports of this issue via support tickets. We have a new resolution to address this issue in CPANEL-6013. I'll update this thread as soon as it's released. The temporary workaround in the meantime is to disable "PHP-FPM service for cPanel Daemons" via "WHM >> Service Manager", and then enable it again.

Thank you.

Hello,

cPanel version 56.0.14 includes a resolution to address the issue reported on this thread:

Fixed case CPANEL-6013: Improve robustness of the php-fpm wedged restart check.

You can update to the new build via "/scripts/upcp" over the command line, or through Web Host Manager (WHM Home >> cPanel >> Upgrade to Latest Version).

Please let us know if the issue continues on this build, and remember you can enable "PHP-FPM service for cPanel Daemons" via "WHM >> Service Manager" if you previously disabled it as a temporary workaround.

Thank you.
