Is cppop damon totaly new writen from scratch or is made from some other pop3 daemon?

It's written by Nick (darkorb)-
If he has any bits and pieces or ideas from other pop3 daemons, that is all for him to answer.

cppop has been around for at least a year- I think more like 1.5 now.

Cppop was written entirely by Nick, and is completely compliant with the POP3 protocol (we hope ;) ).
