Current CENTOS 7.8 virtuozzo v86.0.21 upgrade to 88.0.5

Currently on CENTOS 7.8 virtuozzo v86.0.21

Have received the notification in WHM
"Version “88.0.5” is available."

If I run the upgrade, will all the current settings [eg: php, mysl versions being used] be retained and not automatically upgraded to use later versions?

All of your current settings will remain, like the php versions you're using on your site, or the MySQL version you're running etc. Changing those items during an update would be detrimental to everyone's hosting environments.
