I am getting this message in the security advisory:
Detected 7 processes that are running outdated executables

And get this:
root@host [~]# /usr/bin/needs-restarting
4730 : /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd-kstart-DSSL
4731 : /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd-kstart-DSSL
4728 : /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd-kstart-DSSL
4712 : /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd-kstart-DSSL
4743 : /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd-kstart-DSSL
4776 : /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd-kstart-DSSL
4810 : /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd-kstart-DSSL

I have rebooted the server several times. Doesn't fix it.
Is there any way that I can fix this myself?

Hello,

Can you confirm the issue persists after restarting Apache? EX:

Code:
/etc/init.d/httpd stop; /etc/init.d/httpd startssl
/usr/bin/needs-restarting
Thank you.

This is becoming a nightmare for us. This has recently started happening every day, or at least every few days for each of our servers. I wake up to lots of "Detected X processes that are running outdated executables" messages. Today I received this notification for 11 servers. Considering this has never happened before, I'm quite concerned.

It appears to have started happening around the 22nd of September. Obviously it's very time consuming having to identify each process individually and restart the associated services, especially when there are 50 or more of these to do each day. I'm always reluctant to restart servers, but now I seemingly have no choice but to do that.
