Disable notifications on reboot

Hello.

I like to be informed when a service goes down, works perfectly.

But on this new Cpanel v68.036 I'm getting a bunch of emails of various services being down like:
The service “nscd” appears to be down.
Same for exim, ftp, bind, pop, lfd and the list goes on (39 mails).

It was just a reboot done via SSH (shutdown -r now command).

On the ancient Cpanel with Centos 5 (yeah it's not mine), this does not happen on this kind of reboot. But I do get notifications when a service like bind really goes down when there is no reboot of the server.

Can I fix this anywhere in this new Cpanel version, some config change somehwere?
I don't want to disable all notifications, I just don't want to get 39 mails everytime I reboot the server via SSH.

I tested this on my personal server, I have all services set to enabled and monitored and shutdown the server in the same fashion and didn't receive any notifications. What it sounds like is occurring is the tailwatch daemon is coming up prior to the other services or vice versa it's shutting down after the services on shutdown.

Have you tried multiple reboots with the same effect?

Does it take a considerable amount of time to come back up or shutdown after the shutdown command is issued?

Hello.

I've rebooted about 2 times this way and both times I had those emails coming, first time it was only a few, like 8, the second time it was the 39 mails.

Today I also had a mail that an email to [email protected] could not be delivered as no mail could be send to root. It was coming from probably a crontab which daily checks the mdadm or disk status.
But since that only happened once I just deleted it and will wait if it happens again.

The server is fast back up online after a shutdown and reboot command, after about 30 seconds it's back up. At least I can ping it then again and reach it by SSH. Couple of seconds later Cpanel is running fully too again.

Server is totally newly installed on Centos 7.4.
I now just did 2 reboots within 5 minutes, no emails about services being down yet.
So it looks like it has been some kind of a hickup or something.

Well, I am happy to see you're not getting them now but, If the issue does persist would you please open a ticket using the link in my signature? I believe we'd need to take a closer look in order to determine what's occurring that's causing the notifications to be sent on reboot.
