Does AWStats continue to work on accounts over quota?

Hi,

This is probably an obvious question, starting to research it, but I presume that if a cpanel account reached its disk quota, the awstats and other metrics will not be able to write or show anything for the month?

got a site that has no metrics for a month and half, but notice its at/near/over its disk quota.

Would it be possible to piece the metrics together from the /var/logs? or is the data just gone

Hi @ca2236

If the account is over or at quota metrics software will not be able to write data to the account. Once the account quota is modified the metrics software would start to run again or you could run it manually with /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/runweblogs but only contain recent data. Because the metrics software obtains its data from the domain access logs, depending on how often you have /usr/local/apache/domlogs/ rotating out you may or may not be able to recover that data.

Thank you,
