Email users INBOX, disk space

It seems cpanel is returning incorrect values for the amount of space email users are occupying.

When you click "show disk space used" under the mail manager's "Add/Remove Accounts" it only seems to tabulate the amount of the simple mail (inbox) file.

One of my users is taking up close to ten megs of space because of large sent-mail files, yet Cpanel only reports the size of the inbox file, which shows it at about .26 megs, which is correct.

I wonder, would this mean that Cpanel will allow users to continue to take up more space than allotted if the user moves messages to files other than inbox?

Thanks

Well the total space the user is taking up is incorrectly reported.

but the space the inbox file is taking up is correctly reported, unfortunately that's not what is supposed to be reported though, I wouldn't think.

I would think they should report all space taken up by user's mail, including draft, sent-mail, trash folders, etc.

The problem may be that the Cpanel developers never make a common folder for all mail files, so each one of their webmail programs can access them (Horde, Neomail). This would certainly ease tabulation of all users' mail files.

Not to mention webmail users' ease of use, switching back and forth from webmail apps.
