forwarded mails not a

Dear reader,

We have several email addresses that are forwarded to a Gmail address. This usually works fine, but there are certain emails that never arrive in Gmail (not in spam or anywhere), but the mails can be found via webmail. Is this a known issue? Is there a way to view logs of forwarded emails?

Hey there! It really depends on what level of access you have to the server. If you only have access to your cPanel account, you likely won't be able to see the important logs about the mail transactions. The root user would be able to check the Exim mainlog on the system (/var/log/exim_mainlog) and that would show if the forwarded email left the server or not, and if there were any problems with that transaction, but you have to be the root user to see those.
