How to configure CRON to run commands Randomly in both hours and minutes

Is it possible to setup a cron to run every 3 hours at a random in both hours and minutes.
(i.e if the first job runs at 01:20 ,the second job should run at 03:50 and the third one at 07:02 and so on)

Any suggestions on the best way to achieve this would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think you'd be able to do this with a cron alone because of the way they're set up - all predefined times. I do think you could write a script that could do this Cron jobs and random times, within given hours
