Hello,

If we enable the "Scan outgoing messages for spam and reject based on defined Apache SpamAssassin™ score" feature in the WHM Exim Configuration Manager... is the server admin notified when an email is rejected?

Does the email sender (cpanel account owner) get notified?

Or is it just a silent rejection?

Thanks.

Hello,

you won't get notified of individual items being blocked only the user gets this, however, you can see this in Email Delivery Reports.

You can also get notified when a "Large Amount of Outbound Email Detected" settings for this is in contact manager > notifications

Greetings!

Just a quick point of clarification on Steve's points, regarding the question:

Does the email sender (cpanel account owner) get notified?
The email account that sent the message that fails, does get notified, via bounce message.
The domain admin(cPanel user) does not receive notification unless a consistent stream of events occurs, and only when the option is set in the cPanel users' contact manager.

Thanks, Steve, for pointing that out for them!
