Migration to new server

Hello,

it's not clear for me (and I'm a little bit confused) how to migrate my server to a new physical machine. I have found two articels about that: "How to move all cPanel accounts from one server to another" in the KB and "Transfer Tool" in the Documentation.

I have one server with IPs, lets say
192.168.0.10, 192.168.0.11, 192.168.0.12
this server is on CloudLinux 6.9 and WHM v68 with DNS and some ssl-certs

and a new one with
10.10.10.100, 10.10.10.101, 10.10.10.102
(nothing installed yet)

Now I want to move the complete server and left the old one with his IPs.

Should I install Cloudlinux and WHM on it,
and move everything described in the KB (at step 2 I found the link to the Transfer Tool documentation)?

Is that all, or are there more steps needed?

Maybe I think too complicated, but I don't want a downtime and ask first

Hello,

Yes, that's all you'd need to do to complete the transfer. You'd also need to setup new name servers (with new IP addresses) at the domain registrar if you are using new IP addresses on the destination server.
