Hello,

what is the best practice to tell the users where do they access their cpanel, ftp, mail? Should I tell them to use serverhostname on all services, or should I tell them they should use mymaindomain.tld on all their services or should I tell them they should use therdomain.tld on all services ie:
cpanel - https://userdomain:2083
ftp - ftp.userdomain.tld
incoming and smtp - mail.userdomain.tld?

Or would be better to use server fqdn instead? Or to use mydomain.tld?

Maybe the best option is to use userdomain because when doing server migration to another server, they don't have to change anything?

WHM > Server Configuration > Tweak Settings, Redirection tab docs:
Tweak Settings - cPanel Documentation
Always redirect to SSL - On
Non-SSL redirect destination - Hostname
SSL redirect destination - SSL Certificate Name default
Logout redirection URL - You Hosting website

For user:
cPanel - https://userdomain/cPanel
ftp - ftp.userdomain.tld
incoming and smtp - mail.userdomain.tld

Maybe the best option is to use userdomain because when doing server migration to another server, they don't have to change anything?
As long as your users don't bookmark the resulting URL when they go to, userdomain/cPanel, which would (by the settings mentioned above) Redirect to, htttps://your.servername.com:2087 they'd be fine.

userdomain.tld/cpanel and userdomain.tld/webmail is too easy to remember. :)
