This is a thread for HTML, CSS, and graphic gurus to get together and begin building a WHM/cPanel theme similar to Paper Lantern with the same icons, easy-to-use text, navigation, color scheme, and other features that have made cPanel so popular and which are now in jeopardy.
Given that we've been informed that Theming of the software is no longer part of the cPanel roadmap after a decade of supporting it, it seems inevitable that our theme will require core file changes, and that maintaining those changes will take a lot of work. It's hopeful that we can create a new directory for all the new files and icons and then modify core files as minimally as possible, but zero changes will likely be impossible.
I'd appreciate thoughts and opinions as to how we can make something simple for people to stay updated, yet want a familiar theme.
