I'm under WHM 108.0.14 with PHP 8.2 set as the default PHP release under MultiPHP.

Whenever I launch phpmyadmin from any cPanel account, it reports running under PHP 7.4 (which is really outdated by now). Why is that and how can I fix that? I have tried to reboot the whole server just in case there was a glitch with the 108.0.14 update but it still loads under PHP 7.4.

It reports the following:
  • cpsrvd 11.108.0.14
  • Database client version: libmysql - mysqlnd 7.4.33
  • PHP extension: mysqli curl mbstring
  • PHP version: 7.4.33
I ran EasyApache 4 and it updated a couple PHP modules/extensions, but it's still the same after the provision.

I see, thanks. I would have expected cPanel to spend their development budget on upgrading PHP instead of pushing, sorry FORCING, that ugly Jupiter theme in 108.0. PHP 7.4 has been retired for 4 months by now. Kind of weird I literally just upgraded to 108.0 yesterday through the stable channel. It's getting late to upgrade to PHP 8.
