Hi
I hope someone can help me with an unusual problem I've discovered when activating DomainKeys & SPF for some of my accounts in Cpanel.
For some reason .co.uk accounts/domains work perfectly, while .com's give the message "Enabled, WARNING: DomainKeys cannot be used because this server is not a DNS server for <domainname>".
I am in the process of moving hosts, both hosts are on WHM & Cpanel, I have root access to both.
I have around 15 websites which I am slowly moving from the old to the new. I have noticed that when opening Email Authentication in Cpanel for any of the .com accounts the page takes up to 20 seconds to load and when I then activate DomainKeys and SPF it gives the warning message.
When I do the same for a .co.uk account, the Email Authentication page opens immediately and I get an Active (in green) message to say the DomainKeys & SPF are enabled successfully.
I cannot for the life of me work out why this should be the case?! The old host has all the domain names, I have just changed the nameservers on their registrar service to point to my new nameservers on the new server, the same for .co.uk's as for .com's.
I have compared the old nameserver setup on the old server to the new but cannot see a difference (other than IP's of course!), any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Rich
