I run version 8.5.3-S3

I download the raw apache log files from cpanel and when I try to decompress them I get an error that they are not valid archives.

This worked fine until I upgraded a little while ago. Is anyone else having the same problem?

If I download the file from WHM using the Download a Raw Apache Log option it works, but I can't be doing this for all customers.

I run version 8.5.3-S3 too. This started happening for me also today after the upgrade.

Try logging into cpanel using the NON-ssl url and then download the archive. That worked for me. I now have WHM 9.1.0 cPanel 9.1.0-S93 and it still doesn't work through the ssl url.

This may not be related, but on my host, the raw log manager's gzipped files seem to have CRC errors, UNLESS I download them with Mozilla Firefox.

Unfortunately, those files only contain about a week's worth of logs, but that's probably another issue.
