How can I resend subaccount email invitation so a user can set their own password?
and related,
If I manually set the password for a user who can't find their invitation, how do I turn off the "Invitation expired" flag?
I'm having difficulty with some email accounts on a cPanel subaccount. I have an add-on domain to my account. I sent out invitations to some new users so that they could create their own passwords on new email accounts on the add-on domain. Most invitations have expired. One invitation the user could not find the invitation, so I manually created a password for them.
Now, in the User Manager, I have many users showing "Invite expired". I want to resend that invitation. BUT I don't want to delete their email account, because they have already received email to the account, and they haven't been able to read or download these new emails because they haven't yet been able to log in.
Also, I have a user showing "Invite expired" who now has a functioning account with a valid password. I want to turn off the "Invite expired" flag for this user so that it does not show the red error "Invite expired" flag incorrectly for that user in the User Manager any longer.
Finally, I don't think I understand the expected workflow for creating new email accounts like this, if cPanel/WHM doesn't have a built-in method for managing these cases. Maybe there is a different workflow that I should be following instead?
