I have had my server up and running for over 2 years with Namecheap with no problems like this. All of a sudden I have been receiving error messages regarding SSL for the domain name of the server.

"The system failed to acquire a signed certificate from the cPanel Store because of the following error: (XID q7wtrj) The cPanel Store returned an error (X::TemporarilyUnavailable) in response to the request “POST ssl/certificate/whm-license/90-day”: We were unable to process your request. Please try again later"

I am also getting the following error message:

The SSL certificate for “cpanel” on “host.domain.com” will expire in less than 30 days.
The certificate has the following properties:

Domains:domain.com and www.domain.com
Issuer:cPanel, Inc.
Key Size:2048
Expires:Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 11:59:59 PM UTC

You need to install a new certificate as soon as possible. You can do this with WHM’s “Manage Service SSL Certificates” interface at https://hostname.com:2087/scripts2/manageservicecrts.
This notice is the result of a request from “checkallsslcerts”.
The system generated this notice on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 2:00:36 AM UTC.
“Service SSL Certificate Expires Soon” notifications are currently configured to have an importance of “Medium”. You can change the importance or disable this type of notification in WHM’s Contact Manager at: https://hostname.com:2087/scripts2/editcontact?event=Check::SSLCertExpiresSoon
Do not reply to this automated message.
I have not had to do this before and am concerned that there is something otherwise going on that needs correcting. I contacted Namecheap and they basically repeated the message back to me.

Anyone else having this issue or know what is causing it? Should I simply "reinstall a new certificate as instructed? Will that solve the problem for the long term?

(I changed the server address for privacy.

AutoSSL(Sectigo) renews SSL before 3 days of the expiry, till then you can ignore this message. If it fails to renew the certificate automatically before the expiry date then you can manually renew it using below command:

Code:
# /usr/local/cpanel/bin/checkallsslcerts

I just checked the link that I was given in one of the emails that takes me to the Manage Service SSL Certificates and there the expiration of my SSL is 8/8/22 which is many more days than the 21 stated in the message from the server. This just does not make sense to me. Please can anyone else shed some light on this error?

Thanks

Sectigo has had some issues on their end for a bit now that keep the SSLs from being issued as quickly as they should. You can find more details on this here:

but there's no issue with your server and the machine will continue to retry.

An expiration date of August would indicate the 90-day renewal just recently happened for that certificate.
