Transfer tool missed 2 domains without warning

We transferred all accounts from a server to another using the transfer tool.
Luckily we always doublecheck and it looked like some accounts were missing. Indeed 2 accounts were not transferred and I did -not- see a warning about that as far as I remember.
A warning should have appeared imho.

I looked at the reason for not transferring these accounts and found this:
The system failed to determine if the local server is authoritative for the zone “somedomain.nl” because of an error: (XID 8s8bdu) DNS returned “SERVFAIL” (code 2) in response to the system’s query for “somedomain.nl”’s “SOA” records.
However, the domains from both accounts are working fine, SOA records do not look odd in any way.

What could have caused this, what is wrong here?

Update auto ssl this morning, kind of same warning, missing DCV:
There is no recorded error on the system for “mail.domain.nl”. This might mean that this domain failed DCV (Domain Control Validation) when the system requested the new certificate, but the domain has since passed DCV.
Same for www. However, they have new certificates so odd this notice was given for this domain.

Not seen one for the other domain which was not transferred automatically yet.[/quote]

I wouldn't expect those errors to be related, unless they are both pointing to a larger DNS issue overall on the machine.

For the transfer error, is that all that showed up in the log for the transfer? If you have the session ID, you can pull the log again with this API call:

That was all I could find yes.
The odd thing was that the transfer was stated as "success" for both accounts. But they were nowhere to be found on restore, neither on restore log.

I don't succeed with that API call. The info flows over my screen. I also tried with the GET command, but I don't know which port is used.
However, I can visit the complete thing in /var/cpanel/transfer_sessions/hostnamedateandid/.... and both domains are in there.

So that is the odd thing. Transfer was green (left window), i didn't see an error, and for both accounts in this directory this files with content exists:
Code:
-rw------- 1 root root 24K 2021-04-10 23:50 item-TRANSFER_AccountRemoteRoot_accountname
I doublechecked DNS, they look the same as the rest, no DNS issue. I just checked the registrar, for both domain names used on this account, it's pointing to our nameservers, so also the same as all other accounts/domains.

The only way i discovered both accounts were missing, was because after doing a "list accounts" on both servers, on the new server, the lines shifted in another way. And so I found out 2 accounts were not transferred.

It might be related to the transfer process hanging at 99% mentioned in another topic. This hang on 2 other accounts, but maybe it prevented these from becoming displayed afterwards.

Still I wonder why als now on the new server the AutoSSL gives that odd message, while everthing is in good order. If you want I can send you both domain names by pm so you can verify dns is good. I also checked with intodns. No issues at all.

Oke, because that servfail on Letsencrypt is odd.
Should I create that ticket with my datacenter or can I best do it directly with cPanel? Because in fact this is a fresh install.
