updates from [4.0.0-STABLE_81] ?

i'm on [4.0.0-STABLE_81] right now

should i either

1. just run /scripts/upcp

or

2. get the *.mdk files starting from 4.0.0-stable_82 and install each one until i get to the latest stable version?

running rh 6.2 with 2.2.19 patched kernel with apache 1.3.22 and php 4.06 and mysql 3.23.45

/scripts/upcp should take care of everything for you.
