Upgraded VPS but /dev/vda1is still showing full

Hello i just upgrade my VPS but /dev/vda1is still showing full can anyone tell me how can i add the available space in it ?

I am logged in as root (Administrator) this is my 1st time please explain me in details i already upgrade my VPS only 1 site on it i want to add that available space in cpanel

It's possible your VPS needs to be restarted after your hosting provider has added additional space to your individual VPS.

error changed now Please help me i don't have enough things i can share root pass aswell please its upto 2 days my server is down and i don't know what to do , OVH is not supporting for this.

Could you verify the VPS has been rebooted since your provider added more space?

Your services will not function when you have no available disk space. Thus, the solution to this issue is to determine why the additional space you purchased from your provider is not yet allocated to your VPS. Have you contacted them to verify why it's not yet been added?

If the issue is related to the hard drive capacity, than you will still need
to extend the partition of your server after doing the upgrade. If you are not
sure how to extend your partition, I suggest you to look up online as there
should be plenty of guides to help you with that.

I just reinstall it but i am worried what if i will upgrade it next time . do i always have to reinstall

Reinstalling your OS is not typically required, so you may want to consult with a qualified system administrator or your VPS provider to determine why that was necessary.

OVH is 100% unmanaged so they will not touch your file system if you do not know how to partition a Drive then hiring a technician is you only option a reinstall is not necessary.
