What is the server's account name?

I am using cPanel and the WP Toolkit and trying to fix an email issue using the Check & Log Email plugin

So trying to install in by searching for the plugin results in my being asked to configure FTP, so I decided instead to just upload it.

However, I then receive an error along the lines of, "cannot upload, check that the server has write access."

How I determine which account the server is using so I can grant permission to write?

Hey there! I'm not sure I completely understand the issue - if you are working with a WordPress plugin you would already be inside the cPanel account, so that is the user you're working with.

Can you let us know exactly where you're seeing that error, and if you have root access to the server or just access to your one cPanel account?

Not to worry, I am about to abandon this installation.
