Where is the log file for the created folder ?

Hello,

I have a website using the CI framework, lately I always find phishing folders and files that I didn't create. I want to see the log files of who has created those folders and files. Where can I find the log files ?

Please Help. Thanks.

Hey there! In general, there isn't a log for all files that get created on a server. If the file was uploaded through an FTP client you may be able to find evidence of that in the /var/log/maillog file. You could also check the cPanel access log file at /usr/local/cpanel/logs/access_log as that would show the cPanel user accessing the File Manager if that's how the files were uploaded.

If the files were automatically generated by some tool on the site itself, there would not be a log entry anywhere on the machine.
