WHM API token does not connect

Hi,
I have some 20 servers using the WHM API token (access all) to retrieve different information from those servers and compile that into a single report. The same code works on 19 servers, yet #20 refuses to connect. All tokens are access-all (I know, I should limit that once this works again). I use the exact same code to access all servers (not going to write specific code for each one, right?)
I disabled the firewall - no connection, reenable the firewall, added ports 22, 2087 to the open ports, nothing.
What is different in version 112.0.4 that makes my token fail?

What is the actual error you are getting?

I get no error, connection is refused. With curl in PHP I get the following response:

I also noticed that cPanel v110 worked without having to explicitly open ports 22 and 2087, while 112 needs to have these opened explicitly for this to work. When they got updated to 112, they stopped working with this function, until I opened ports 22 and 2087.

It's working. However, I not only had to explicitly open the ports, I also had to Allow and Ignore the IP from where those requests were made. None of that on other servers I have in use. So it remains a mystery as to what is/was blocking decent communication.
