@craigocasio can you open a new thread with this? possibly with more info what error you get if you are initiating a manual backup (/scripts/pkgacct username)

@craigocasio - do you have root access to the server? If so, I would recommend trying to manually dump the database with the mysqldump command to see if that is successful:
cd /var/lib/mysql
mysqldump database_name > database_backup.sql
If that doesn't work, the cPanel tools will also not be successful.
If you don't have root access to the machine you would need to speak with your hosting provider or datacenter to have them investigate this issue.
